MEETING OF November 13, 2006

GREETINGS & INVOCATION by Jim Colabelli

 

GUESTS:  Armand Mills (last visit as a guest) and his wife Ellen guests of Pablo Martinez; Lt. Gov Kileen, Circle K Lt. Gov. Kim, Key Club Lt. Gov. Megan, 21 members from 4 of the Division’s clubs, Heather Lawton and Jen Russo from Russell Sage Circle K.                         

ANNOUNCEMENTS

PERFECT ATTENDANCE:
          President Bob presented Fred Jeschke with a 2 year tab and Fred Wurtemberger a 34 year tab for perfect attendance.

  

 

 

 INDUCTION OF A NEW MEMBER:
          Lt. Governor Kileen invited President Bob, Pablo and Ellen Mills to assist in the induction of Armand as the 55th member of the club.  Armand and Ellen live on Prospect Street and Armand is president of Carlsberg Promotional Printing.  He feels right at home with the club and thanked both Pablo and Chris Blais for getting him to visit what he had always thought was “an old man’s club”.

 

HAPPY DOLLARS

$       Jim Rogers had a dollar to give for the great visit he and Joanne had with friends in the Myrtle Beach area.  He also had the chance to see 100’s of Tundra Geese.

$       Armand had one because of his friends – Pablo and Chris and also a second for his wife of 4 years who is also his “best team mate.

$       Barb – because Lt. Gov. Megan was able to join us.

$       Lt. Gov.-Elect Gale Leva, of the Hoosick Falls Club had 3.  The Hoosick Falls Football Team were the Class “C” champs and went to the “states”; The “Fighting Irish Pee Wee Football team” were champs in their division and the Hoosick Falls Women’s Field Hockey Team (the Lady Panthers) are going to the NY State Championships.

$       Division Treasurer Jean had 3 happy dollars – one for each of the Circle K members present.

$       Kevin Sarsfield had a happy dollar and a large grin because he was able to get rid of 3 very large bags of returnable bottles and cans. (The Circle K Division is collecting them and will donate the money to the KPTU at AMC.)

 

DOOR PRIZE provided by Kevin, was won by Jim Miner of the Hoosick Falls Club.! 

50/50 for $36.00 was won by Botsy but he may not know that until he reads it here as he had left early.

MEGA 50/50 is still alive!  Dudley found a King alright but the King of Hearts.  Had it been the King of Clubs he would have won $153.00.  Next week the King will be hiding among 41 cards!

 

        

After adjournment the gavel was turned over to Lt. Governor Kileen for the Division Council Meeting.
