PROGRAM

Jim Rogers gave a slide presentation of a trip he and his family took during the summer of 1980 through the National Parks in the Rocky Mountains.  The spectacular photos showed the Rogers family hiking in Banff NP in Alberta, Canada, Glacier NP in Montana, Yellowstone NP in Wyoming, Rocky Mountain & Mesa Verde NPs in Colorado, Four Corners National Monument in CO, NM, AZ, & UT, Zion & Bryce Canyon NPs in Utah, and Grand Canyon NP in Arizona.  Of course, they were all much younger then, but they did an amazing amount of hiking and camping in precipitous mountain terrain!  Some of us had also visited these areas, but we all agreed that we had not been as ambitious as Jim, Joanne, and the girls!  Thanks, Jim, for a very entertaining interlude showing some of the most beautiful scenery in our country!

HAPPY DOLLARS

Pablo:  Happy to have cooked for you last week!  Also, for the weirdest shorts I’ve ever seen on Chet’s son Joe!

Jim Rogers, for Ken Noland’s second visit tonight!

Botsy:  I painted my barbershop, and I like the way it looks!

Bill Whipple:  Son Scott’s bride has arrived from Thailand; he will be attending Navy Officers Training School, so they will soon be heading for Texas!

Botsy, again:  Bob Loveridge came to my shop, and took away 10 boxes of peanuts!
