HAPPY DOLLARS
$ Sarah: Thank you for asking me to be Vice President!
$ Dale: I’m happy because Sarah’s happy!
$ KVP: I’m happy Dale’s happy and Sarah’s happy, too! Glad to be back, and we thank you for the condolences on the passing of Jane’s brother. Happy to receive the Sandpiper while away, so I could keep up with the continuing saga of Gary’s adventures! We could see him smile all the way down in Florida! I missed the surge of the Yankees, but there are 130 games left in the season, so Red Sox fans, WATCH OUT!
$ Jim Rogers: Congratulations on all the new officers and directors! Glad to see KVP back!
$ Bob Reiter: I’M happy because Boston IS in first place!
$ Barb: I was happy to receive flowers and a thank you note from the Columbia Key Club!
$ Jim Colabelli: I’m happy because my fat pregnant daughter came home for Mother’s Day! And I’m glad to see KVP back, too!
$ Chet: I’m happy because Jim Rogers paid for my dinner! Amid the hoots and hollers, some of the many comments heard were “Chet’s always there with his equipment!” “It’s called Power Point!” “Things were never like this when Dudley was President!” plus others not caught! Chet also was happy that Joe came in 2nd in one go-kart race and 4th in another one!
$ Brownrigg: I’m happy that we had a nice vacation in Florida, and Suzanne and I are still married! “Cialis DOES work!” “Who’s Alice?” {What a group!”}
$ Bill Whipple: Participated in the Arthritis Walk Saturday. It was their 5th year; there were 500 walkers who raised $50,000!! Danielle Stacy herself brought in $1200!
$
Gary: I’m
so happy, I forgot what for! Now I have no money—spent it all on gas!
$ Pres Bob: I’m happy that Gary’s happy, that Sarah’s happy, that Dale’s happy, ... and on, and on, and on! We’re just a happy, happy club! “We’ve been infected!”
DOOR PRIZE, provided by Pres Bob, was won by Chet: Army hats for his whole table!
50/50 for $21 was won by Jim Rogers!
MEGA 50/50 just keeps growing! Dudley tried for the King, but only got the EIGHT of Clubs! So the $512.50 will be bigger next week!
NEXT WEEK PROGRAM: Doug Baldrey -- a surprise?
MAY 21 GREETER/INVOCATOR/CERTIFICATE: Sarah Tripp
MAY 28 NO MEETING – MARCH IN MEMORIAL DAY PARADE!
JUNE 4 PROGRAM: Dudley Dorr, Chair of House Committee
