Annual Meeting:
Jim Rogers - Recording Sec. & Election Chair presented Nominees: President Jerry Tysiak, President Elect, Sarah Tripp & Treasurer Bob Pasquarelli.
President Joe opened the floor for nominations - none were offered.
Without objection President Joe ordered the Recording Secretary to cast one ballot for each of the nominees for their respective offices; after which President Joe declared that the nominees had been elected to their respective offices for the 2008-09 Administrative Year. (Editor’s note: after the meeting President Elect designate Sarah had to resign as an officer of the club due to a lack of time to comment to the office.)
Jim Rogers then presented the nominees for the office of Club Director: Bill Whipple, Ray Turner, Scott Paul, Skip Patton & Gary Meislin. President Joe opened the floor for nominations and as there were none forthcoming order nominations close and instructed that the ballots be distributed. After the ballots had been used by the members the committee collected the ballots and counted the votes. President Joe announced that Bill Whipple, Scott Paul and Ray Turner had been elected as Club Directors for the term of October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011. As there was no other business for the Annual Meeting, President Joe adjourned the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Sand Lake, NY.
Editor’s note: at the organizational meeting of the Board Designate David Booker was appointed as Secretary and Dudley Dorr as Assistant Secretary for the 2008-09 Administrative Year.)
HAPPY DOLLARS
$ Nancy Davis was happy to announced Bicentennial Raffle & that she has tickets to the event.
$ Armand is happy about the First Place Red Sox.
$ Jerry is happy that his daughter will be home soon & working.
$ Pat Lane is glad that there are so many Red Sox fans in Club.
DOOR PRIZE provided by President Joe was won by Ron Wagner.
50/50 for $19 was won by President designate Jerry!
MEGA 50/50, now up to $585.10 with only 14 cards left in the pool was not won by Dale who found the 6 of Hearts!
