HAPPY DOLLARS
$ Chet – son Joe had the “rookie position” [last in line behind all the experienced racers] in an extended 35 lap race [normally the races are 25 laps] and came in SECOND! He is no longer considered a “rookie!”
$ Lt. Gov. Liz (multiple happy dollars) - praised the great things that AP Keys did this year and a second for the great things Columbia Keys did this year.
$ Chris (multiple happy dollars) - for Red Sox and for the joy of working with Keys and will not be advisor next year due to conflict with the school district.
$ Eve (multiple happy dollars) - for the 1st place Red Sox and for grandson Drew’s 2nd place in track event Pole Vault - cleared 11 feet!!!!!!!!!!!
$ Skip - Red Sox (& Rangers)
$ Jim Colabelli (multiple happy dollars) - great time in FL. & GA working vacation saw friends & family; also grateful that the house was not broken into this time [perhaps it was due to President Joe’s watchful eye.]
$ Jim Rogers (multiple happy dollars)– for all the great things Chris has accomplished with the APHS Key Club; for all that Barb has done with the Columbia HS Key Club and of course for the winning River Rats!
$ DPP Bob Loveridge – attended the Mohawk Division Prayer Breakfast with Dave [Editor’s note: by the way have you heard that I am running for Governor Elect?] – Booker is getting great at answering questions. Bob also enjoyed the Rensselaer Club’s Elvis fundraiser and ate the same food as Dave for last and is not sick. Maybe Elvis jumping on Dave's table and gyrating made Dave sick (Editor’s note: it was nothing at the event that was responsible for my being ill).
$ Barb (multiple happy dollars) - for AP Key Club members; for Columbia Key Club members and an additional dollar for the new Columbia Key Club advisor Gretchen Schultz.
$ Gretchen - for new position and happy that she didn't have to make a speech.
$ Gary (multiple happy dollars) -Kelly's here and he got his HUG!! Old computer is completely DEAD!!!! Repair shop wants $500 to fix - no one is invited to his B-day party because he can't afford it.
$ AP President Casey - emotionally thanked outgoing Treasurer Mariee for getting her into Key - "I wouldn't be here with out you"!
$ Kara, Columbia VP - for her Great Key Club.
$ Connor Blais (multiple happy dollars) – for the Red Sox and also for Barb, dad (Chris) & outgoing Key Officers for being AWESOME!!!!!!!!
$ Sarah (from the AP Key Club) – lamented that now that Chris won't be advisor she won't have a ride home.
DOOR PRIZES were provided by both Chris and Barb. They were won by APHS Treasurer Rachel Bryk and Dudley [coffee and wine in that order].
50/50 for $20 was won by Ron Wagner!
MEGA 50/50, now up to $529.10 with only 17 cards left in the pool was not won by President Joe who found the 2 of Clubs!
