HAPPY DOLLARS

$        Dale Hall issued a challenge to the Club for money for the “Shave Mr. Blais” fund and promised to doubly match all contributions.  This resulted in $139.35 collected, to which Dale added $350!  {We wonder who wants this “unveiling” more, the kids or SLKs!}

$        Peg, for a wonderful 6 weeks in sunny Florida, including an exciting Daytona 500 NASCAR race, and a very happy visit with the VanPraags.  KVP sends his greetings, and reports that the hurricane damage is almost all repaired!  Again!!

$        Booker, for no more double duty as secretary AND Sandpiper editor!  6 whole weeks!!

$        Chris Blais, for the Boston Red Sox winning their opening game, for Columbia’s new advisor Mr. Driscoll, and for SLK’s terrific support of two Key Clubs!

$        Barb:  So proud of both these outstanding Key Clubs!

$        “Joe’s Dad” aka “Pinky” aka LtG Chet, for two great Key Clubs, AND Joe’s 1st week of the new go-kart season was rained out!  I’m not ready yet!

$        PLG Jean:  Attended the New England District meeting—they want Dave back—no way!!

$        CKC Pres Elizabeth Spink, for Lt Gov Megan Sanzo and a great year!

$        KC Connor Blais, for Mr. Melius and his PINK shirt!

$        John Brownrigg wanted to know when and where the shaving would take place—at APHS, ASAP after the $5000 goal is reached.  SLK will be invited.  Botsy, the Shaver Designate, is worried because he heard that back when Chris USED to shave, he did it in the SHOWER!

DOOR PRIZES:  #1,  jars of homemade jelly donated by Barb, was won by Brownrigg, who promptly auctioned them off, raising $10 more for the “Shave” fund!
