ANNOUNCEMENTS
· Sean Cranston gave a presentation requesting that the Club consider sponsoring a Youth Concert at Butler Park on a Saturday evening towards the end of August. He envisions a variety of music, appealing to all ages, no rap. Various questions were asked, including the possibility of having this concert on the Sunday of Summerfest, which would be early July. Mention was made that in August, we already sponsor Sunday Concerts in the Park. The question was referred to the Youth Services Committee for consideration before being presented to the Board of Directors.
· Fred Wurtemberger reminded of the DIVISION COUNCIL at 6 PM this Wednesday the 23rd at Moscatiello's on Route 4, hosted by the Troy Club: Behson, Booker, Hall, B. Loveridge, Pasquarelli, Rogers, Weiss.
· A condolence card was circulated for Botsy's mother-in-law who passed away last week. ~ Two meetings to follow the regular meeting tonight: short Board of Directors meeting, followed by a Summerfest planning meeting.
· IPP Bob Loveridge presented President Joe with a Certificate of Appreciation from the WSL Fire Company for our support of their activities.
· DOORS OF HOPE needs workers at 10 AM Fri Feb 1st• Signed up for working Tues Feb 12th: Booker, Behson, & Pasquarelli. Mikki circulated details of the labels, box tops, & workshops that are requested by the PT As, and also read another letter of thanks from a family who was a recipient of our Christmas boxes. PROGRAM

Jim Rogers, with expert technical assistance from Chet Melius, presented a program of photos of the events of Immediate Past President Bob Loveridge's administrative year 2006-2007. Beginning with Bob's installation in October, some were serious, some were hilarious, all were nostalgic and most entertaining, with the beautiful background music of Tim Janis. Highlighted were the monthly treats of Eve's gorgeous birthday and anniversary cakes, along with scenes from our meetings, our parties, and our projects. We laughed at ourselves, not always at our best! It was a wonderful program, difficult to describe--truly a "You had to be there" experience! IPP Bob was touched and quite pleased, as he thanked Jim for the pictorial record, and all the members for helping him have such a great year!
HAPPY DOLLARS
$ President Joe, for April Marie's second visit to the Club!
$ Dale Hall: Look out, Patriots, the Giants are on their way!
$ Mikki: John and I are expecting! Not what you think! This one has 4 paws and a cold nose!
$ Kevin, for the 1st time the Pats beat the Giants, and for the 2nd time, in 2 weeks!
$ Scott Paul, for the concern and support of all the members. I'm in remission now for 13 months! My daughter won Little Miss Uncle Sam, I umpired Little League finals in Utica, and Donna & I are expecting another child in early July!
$ IPP Bob, for Jim's wonderful presentation of my year as president!

$ Jim Rogers: Thanks to Chet for this 4th time showing pictures for me! And also, the River Rats are now in 2nd place!
$ Barb, for Sean's visit! He's over 18, so he can become a Kiwanian!
$ Gary: My twin grandsons are 2 years old this week! And my truck, that wonderful truck that cost me $6000 to buy, is now costing me $2500 to get it fixed and glass replaced! I couldn't get it out of the driveway! I kept putting it in reverse, and it got to the end, but wouldn't go any farther! Drove it back in, and tried again, many times! I finally got it around the tree, and towed to the repair shop. I'll bet Leckonby has a BIG smile on his face!
